Today

Was a decidedly good day. I'm down with Biology- it's becoming my favorite class very rapidly. Mr. Miller complimented my reading skills-I'm diggin' that too. Mr. Borden said to me today: "Cori, you can say like, and totally, and be a valley girl all you want. As long as you know it's a mask, you're a very bright girl, and that it's not what you're destined to be." Very unexpectedly too. As long as I know it's a mask. Hmm.
I got home and Garden State was on, and that's probably my favorite movie of all all all time.
"How do you feel right now?"
"I feel safe. When I'm with you I feel so safe. Like I'm home."

That movie is so fantastic. Everything about it. Mm I love me some Zach Braff too :) It ended just as I left for violin, which was good because I did better than I have been doing. I've been practicing more because Jade still wants me to play... in front of other people :/ eghhh.
I need a good book to read, I'm thinking "Things Fall Apart". I think it's such a profound title.

I'm going to go to Africa in 2 and a half years. I'm going to set up my living situation in New York, the go to Africa. It's in our family, my mom did it, Joe did it, Sarah did it, and I am going to do it. I am going to help somebody.
